I walked onto the beach and was immediately greeted by a noise above my head. I looked up to see a Golden Eagle climbing overhead only some 30 - 40 metres above me. It headed to the East and disappeared into the morning gloom. What really stood out about it was the size of it! I'm pretty sure that it must have been feeding on something located close to where I walked onto the beach but I never found anything.
